Insurance options other than JM?

I was mugged back in September, my GMT Master II was stolen (and my nose busted up pretty bad, hooray). It was insured through Jewelers Mutual and I just bought a DD40 as a replacement using the policy.

JM won't insure the new DD40 due to my past claim, so who is a good option as an alternative to insure the watch?

I don't have a homeowner's policy and am not military for USAA.

I've reviewed other threads on insurance companies but figured I'd start a fresh thread on this since the posts are a bit old.

I may try Gemsafe, but I figure there must be other options.

I feel like I tried them but they don't cover my area (Eastern MA). But I'll check again.

If you're in Spain why are you asking about and have history with U.S. insurers?

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. I'm based in eastern MA and travel a lot.

Also in MA, I still have JM for my watches but have a rider for all my wife's jewelry through LM. Just made the switch last month and found them very reasonable. Might be putting my watches coverage with them next year.

Gem safe - this is who I am probably going to use to insure my fiancé’s ring with as it was the best rates compared to state farm and JM

They're probably the best and only option. Unfortunately they're upgrading their systems and not accepting new applicants right now for a couple months. Great timing :)
