Watchfinder and Dream-Watches

Hi all, I am sure that most of you know that I am looking for a BNIB 18kt Yellow Gold 16618 Submariner (Bluesy dial). I have been doing some research and I am coming to no good conclusions about how good/authentic/reliable the delivery, contact and the watches actually are. I was hoping that someone on this large forum could enlightnen me as to whether they are good to deal with. I have heard that dream watches has somone called Dane to deal with, is he ok.... etc

Thank you very much ladies/gents
Ashley

I have found Dane 100% knowledgible and happy to help. Watchfinder likewise and also John & Tim @ Swiss Watch Company. Hope it helps, depending on where you live it's may be worth visiting them.

Dream-watches in Gosport nr. Portsmouth.
Swiss Watch Company in Chiswick.
Watchfinder in Maidstone.

So all close enough to get to if they have what you want and you want to have a look before comiting.

Wouldn't pee on watchfinder if they were burning. Self elevated idiots. Visited the store and found them full of self worth. Would never see my coin.

Bought from and sold to Dane, wouldn't worry at all about sending funds to Dane, or John in Chiswick at watches.co.uk

Dream Watches, I was going to buy from, but finally tracked down a BNIB Sea Dweller from an AD not too far away before they stopped making them, but a mate bought his Daytona from Dane and had nothing but good things to say.

I personally would not deal with Dream Watches, his prices are extortionate, and his trade in prices are laughable,he said he would give me £1650 for a mint original 1991 GMT 2,with original box, paperwork, and accessories, and was selling a less desirable newer watch for £3495! With the current economic climate, and 3 big price increases in the last year,it is going to be difficult to make a premium now on once desirable steel sports models.I have seen Milgauss Anniversary, and Rolex Deepsea's in AD's windows recently, and i bet we will be able to walk in and buy Steel Daytonas before the end of the year,as waiting lists dry up.Therefore, there is no reason now,why anybody needs to pay over list for any new Rolex now,and anyone who pays £7K for a steel Daytona needs their head read!

Oh,and just for the record, there is a brand new Deepsea at Mappin and Webb in St Andrews, and a Milgauss Anniversary at Eric Smiths in Glasgow.I wont take a £700 premium telling you this either......be quick they may already be sold.
