I think they go perfectly on a PM piece; gold, white or yellow, should be a little shinier than stainless, and will scratch no matter what ;).

I have two with PCLs, and they still look good. Minimal scratches after a couple of years.

I like the PCLs. Makes it a touch dressier, but not over the top.

I prefer the uniformity of non-PCL bracelets.

They grew on me and now I do not mind them so much. Polished lug tops, on the other hand...

I have recently started to accept PCL and can coexist with it... when I first got my GMT IIc LN, I ordered a SubC bracelet as I just did not like PCL.
For some reason, the SubC bracelet did not look right on the LN, so I put the original bracelet on. It just grew on me and now I don’t even think about it. I don’t get too many scratches on my watches as I rotate them frequently. Even if it did, I don’t think I would care much. |

I personally like both. For casual wear I typically go for non PCLs, more formal I prefer PCLs

Love it. Hate it. Doesn’t matter. I just want to buy a SS Rolex.
