An AD in south Florida told me they increased production 5%. Not much but better than nothing.

Well 5% on 10 000 watches is nothing.

5% on 1 million watches is a whole lot more.

Rolex does not communicate production numbers with anyone, including ADs. Tell your AD to stop blowing hot air

They must have plucked that number out of thin air, because he/she sure as hell didn't get it from Rolex.

Makes sense to shift production. Black GMT and sub were always an either/or proposition for me and I imagine others too since they look so similar.

You put the cart before the horse. Because there are no more 116710s being produced they upped both the blnr and blro capacity most likely. It makes sense.

One thread and an AD report confirms a theory? I hope you're on the committee if I ever have to defend a Ph.D. dissertation.

I felt I was simply confirming his responsible deduction as being the first one posted here, not as a statement of fact...but whatever.

However if you still need me to help just send a PM.

Talk about putting words in other people's mouths.

He said, "it looks like," as in to seem or appear, hardly a confirmation, no?
And he called it a hypothesis, not a theory. Maybe we need a dissertation on being triggered easily.

I'll get right on that as soon as I finish my treatise on the inverse relationship between a person's use of trite buzzwords and his capacity for original thought.

Thanks for the shout out! I’ve noticed what feels like more gmt incomings over the past couple weeks here, but who knows. Time will tell.

Until then, I’m sticking with my hypothesis

I also get the sense of that.

I also wonder how many people outside the forum are getting these lately.

Random but related, I feel like I've seen a lot of hot models incoming from Texas.

I hope so because having GMT Masters being allocation items will really hurt the brand in the long-run imo

Visited 2 ADs in Boston today, combined they said they’ve seen 1 in the past 12 months. The one with which I have a purchase history told me they have a customer who has spent $800k this year and he’s not getting one, so neither am I. Yeah...
