Anyone wear their sea dweller without the dive extension?
Well? I tried a lot of link combinations on my SD and the best fit was without any of the diving extension link. Anyone wears it that way? Any dissadvantages/worries?

I have a deepsea coming my way (fingers crossed NEXT WEEK) and it sounds like with that watch, taking the extension link out serves for a better fit...

You should be good to go. Did that on my first Marathon SAR and had no problems.

Replace it?! I just used what was connected to the extension link. No replacements, just removed the extension. Any problem with that?

A majority of us, when fitted at the AD, will have to have the bracelet shortened, and leaving us with leftover links. We substitute the extensions with those leftover links [if necessary]. If you happen to be of a wrist size that requires all the links, then you should not have a fit problem.

Can you please show me a pic of the "solid link" that you replaced it with and where did you buy it from?

I also removed it on the Deep Sea. It was ok for me on the SD.

I've left it in place and realize that 99.9% of the time I won't need it...but I think of the extension like a pickup truck - You don't really need it until you really need it...then you're glad you have it!

i needed two xtra links for my deep sea, so when i ordered it rolex fitted them for me with the divers extension in place at no extra cost, i then went back and got them to fit 2 more links in place of the divers extension and managed to get this done free of charge.
i think the extra links to buy are about 25.00 pounds each |
