Rolex 116613LB
I was wondering why the TT #116613LB is not selling at a premium?
Do you think it is worth the MSRP? Please advise. |

Watches aren’t really investments you know. For whatever reason some sell at a premium and others don’t. If you like it and can afford it, then buy it. Don’t be too concerned about future value. Rolex watches tend to keep good value.

Yes, I think it is a gorgeous watch. I personally love TT. And those two factors combined mean I'd get one if I was looking at getting a Sub, because black dial SS is boring and Hulks go for so much that I'd rather have Bluesy. At the end of the day, if you like it, get it. Don't let your small potential losses/gains prevent you from buying it/ convince you to buy a watch you don't like. |

Economic supply & demand equilibrium is achieved. Unlike the Daytona and SS professional line.

I do feel it is worth msrp. You can find them preowned and save some money if need be. I did. Cant say I saved a ton, but it was enough to make it below msrp plus no tax. Mine is a year old and appears barely worn. If you look at those out of warranty you can save a bit more.
As for pricing, it does seem to me that they have been sneaking up just a bit for the last 6 months. I expect this to continue slowly if SS pieces remain hard to get. |

I think it's worth the MSRP. Although I was fortunate enough to get a discount last November. I hear the TTs are being pulled up my the SS situation. I don't think the 13LB is all that difficult to get at the moment. I've seen one in an AD, and after I blinked, it was still there. That's slow for a Rolex!

Given the prices of the SS watches, I am starting to believe all TT watches are well worth the MSRP.
I bought mine 11+ years ago and got, I think, a 10% discount (to cover the tax I think.) I see them advertised now at decent prices and for a whole lotta watch that you are getting, I think it is well worth the MSRP even.
