Major Power Failure in Auckland...all sent home!!
Hi guys,
A major power failure at the city's main grid took place at 8.30 this morning. So everyone was sent home as absolutely no work was possible. Power was restored just some time ago. It's 2.30 in the afternoon now, so I'm here on the forum, getting some free time and being paid for it too!! Cheers - JJ

Yeah, something about some overhead wire snapping at one of our major railway yards...more details will follow in tomorrow morning's newspapers.
My area (Mount Albert) was lucky to get back power much sooner than others though!
