Never seems to be much speak of the Day/Date on here, what are the thoughts on this besides "don't pay retail". Is this still a grail watch for many? Show your wrist shots!!!!

-One of my favorite pieces for certain

-I wouldn’t pay retail while you can still get a new one from trusted sellers here, still at a discount (although that’s inching closer because of the Rolex craziness)

-Grail for many I’m sure

=An all around versatile piece in any metal..IMO

That's beautiful. It's the last word in Rolex watches.

If you use the search function you’ll find lots and lots and lots of discussion about various models of DD. The vast majority are fans of the watch.

I’m definitely beginning to feel the force of the President and am strongly considering one. Started thinking about the white gold version but now I think full-on YG or RG - go big or go home kinda thing.

Been through a lot of watches: Sub-C, Deepsea, GMT LN, Datejust 41...currently have the BLNR and BLRO but will likely end my Rolex journey with the BLRO and a Day-Date. A big, in your face, yellow gold, gaudy and beautiful Rolex!

Still working through the mental process, research, etc.

Not a grail, but that bracelet is exceptional.

Would not call it a grail timepiece, yet glad to have one.

Grail, for me, is something far more intricate.

Definition of over-engineering. Utterly pointless.
