What are your GMT Alternatives? ..
So while I wait for a BLRO to fall out of the sky and onto my lap, i'm curious what others have purchased that meets that same itch of a BLRO ..
The obvious answers (Tudor GMT), and a vintage pepsi, are well .. obvious .. looking for other suggestions beyond those two. |

This is the perfect alternative. For something different but still offering GMT, I have a Reverso GMT and a Nautilus 5990. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Polar Exp2 is a really nice piece. That'll scratch the itch if you need a 4th hand.

I have an Explorer Polar. I don't need three time zones. I wouldn't mind a BLRO or CHNR because they are so iconic, but the Polar is a superb watch. And a bit left field. It certainly doesn't look like anything else in my collection.

I'm sorry but the Explorer just doesn't do it for me, I mean seriously it looks like a Swatch. the colour combo doesn't fit and it really just tells the time compared to the timezones of a GMT. For me, Rolex can scrap that watch from the line-up, it's not Rolex worthy.
As to any GMT replacements, there are none, that's why you like the GMT. To get rid of the itch for a few months look at AP or Panerai, Omega.

Stunning watch, was just looking at one a few days ago in Japan. As much as I love my GMT-C, my feeling is that the GS is not inferior in any way. Congratulations on your good taste, it’s a fantastic and great looking piece! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If you're looking for a non-Rolex, "true" GMT...
Look at Seiko/Grand Seiko and Omega.

I mention Omega and Grand Seiko because they are the only brands (to my knowledge) that offer "true" GMT movements. |

Couldn't agree more. I used to HIGHLY dislike two-tone watches until I saw the CHNR.
Oh you too? |

Harry , you are right , it is also very beautiful , Bluesy is a true classic TT .. But IMO , when you compare with the CHNR , i don't know how to say in English , let me try , it is more glittery then the CHNR . My vote will be for CHNR . Probably it will be my 4th Rolex on the list.
