I got ND sub in a major market in from a commercial multi-location AD in three weeks.

Forget the ADs. Until they recognize that they provide *us* a service, I won’t bother with them. I don’t grovel or beg and plead hoping they’ll see fit to bestow on me a watch. If I want it bad enough, I’ll buy it elsewhere.

The AD's are now deeply into the latest scam with the hot commodities. It goes like this:
"Oh, one of my regular customers backed out of his order, and I have a new white ceramic Daytona for you, at retail, . . . and you can buy it!... BUT, what ELSE are you going to buy from me?"

(And you better be thinking about buying about $20K worth of other items, or you ain't getting the $12.4K Daytona - - - -it's really that simple!)

So, it's easy to say, "I'll buy it elsewhere" . . . . until you can get it for retail, and the gray market is WAY more! (Then, maybe that AD is someone you DO want to take out on a date, after all??)

There should be a part two of this meme where the ‘watch enthusiast’ finally gets the girl then immediately takes her to visit his friend the ‘grey market dealer’.

Sarcasm aside, it’s a funny meme

Love this. Exactly right. Seen it right here on this forum where someone celebrates an incoming while posting the same new watch for sale.

Can you add the cranky watch enthusiast who is wearing watches up both arms shaking their head at how entitled the regular enthusiast is to try and get a watch without already being in a long term relationship with the AD.

You need a second photo of another watch enthusiast decked out in an Armani suit handing the grey market dealer a wad of cash and walking off with the girl.
