Okey dokkey, there is no issue with ceramic bezel splitting or otherwise. I wear my Exp II all the time that is what they were made for. Why leave your watch in a shi**y locker while you are working out. Safest place on the wrist.

Nope, Timex Ironman for me. My wrist swells at the gym and the bracelet gets so uncomfortable. I have worn a Rolex to the gym a few times when I forgot I was wearing one, but I just don't enjoy doing it.

I'll second that...
I'm younger however, and do powerlifting/very heavy training and athletic training, I couldn't ever imagine wearing a watch in the gym but that's me... (age obviously doesn't play a huge role) as there are middle age guy's I see who are in crazy shape like I am... But still, mostly the guy's I see with watches on are on the treadmill walking at a slow pace |

I wear my sub at the gym but its highly unlikely that my workout would hurt any watch.

I wear my Sub while working out, but most of my workouts are running and fitness. I haven't been lifting weighs for a long time, I'd probably think twice about wearing my Sub then.

Very good question.
This kind of question sometimes makes me think of other questions. If all the Rollies such as GMT, Sub, Exp, Sea Dweller & TOG (both) are called sport models, then are they designed for sports such as gym activities, swimming, climbing, flying, shooting, diving, racing etc......???? Or they are designed to wear them while we drink tea & watch kite surfers in action??? (1) Sporty rollies are designed for sports & it's quite ok, perfect to wear them at the gym. (2) Mr. Show-Case Rollie does not want to wear his Sub to the gym because it may get some scratches, damaged or stolen. There is an ocean of difference between the two. |

Living proof after almost thousand of hours (nearly 2 yrs) in the gym & you'll be the judge.
Not counting hundreds of smiles from the chicks of all colors w/ tatoos & without tatoos. Do we, Rollies' owners (not wearing them at the gym), want the chicks to smile at us or just want to look at the beauties who are smiling at a TOG guy??? Again, you're the judge. My post is just for fun though. |

My heartiest congratulations on the hundreds of "tattooed and nontattoed chicks" who smile at you. You've accomplished quite a feat! (Comments directed to Rolex5)
