It’s not really suitable for all occasions. My business is industrial and I work with my hands a lot so I leave the SS on most of the week

I’m with you there. The Sub can take a beating but YG is not the best choice for some professions. Great pair, BTW!

The Gold Submariner with the black dial - in my opinion one of Rolex's most iconic watches, a gold Submariner.

Believe I saw some video where a guy with several watches asked a "watch expert" to consolidate all his pieces into ONE WATCH, that would be a statement piece, wear anywhere, while still being absolutely iconic, and after trying on several pieces that had been selected for him, they even interviewed people in the street and asked which watch suited him best, looked the best, and the PM gold Rolex Submariner with the black dial was his winner.

Such a classic piece....that's been on high on my list along with the other 50 others I'd like....:-)

Ye I was considering the blue. But after trying both of them on the black was a better fit for me. Just got it a month ago too

Well they certainly are shiny. I’m not religious AT ALL, but the passage from Exodus 32-34 seems like good advice from time to time.
