<<< feeling lucky >>>

Lately my wife has taken this one over, so read my wife the riot act and told her enough's enough ... well ok actually, I politely asked if I could have my Submariner back for a while

Popped in two links and back on the wrist, like an old friend. Man, I forgot how much I love this reference

Anyone else have a watch you haven't worn in a while and feel the same?

Lucky for me my wife doesn’t want to step up to 40mm. It’s hard enough trying to convince her to go 36.
Love that 114060 Brian!!!

My wife tried my Sub on. First time I hated that glidelock. She wanted to wear it to work. I told her it looked ridiculous on her (I lied, it looked good).

Now she wants that Yacht-Master Everrose/Chocolate 37mm.

I have to admit it is a nice watch. My problem is I think the 40mm looks good on her.

I can identify ... this one looks huge on my wife, but in a weird way I kind of like it. I guess it’s like a woman wearing a mans shirt ... it can look pretty damn sexy

Ellen has always pulled it off quite nicely.

What? No way, Ellen is the exact type of woman who can't pull it off. I suppose it matches her "shtick" of masculine clothing, though it's not like that looks *good*, either.

Ha good one Brian, but if she kept it, I do not think you would be out any money.

I'd pay good money to see the nicest guy on TRF read the riot act to anyone... or maybe that's when you turn into T-Bone.

My significant other keeps eying my CHNR. She shows zero interest in my Pepsi or Sub but wants to wear the root beer... those polished center links worry me, because although I wear my watches to do everything and don’t baby them at all... she is the more accident prone and “wreckless” of us two. She somehow is harder on all her belongings than I am.

It’s a slippery slope my friend ... it’ll start with the CHNR and next thing you know ...

So what have you been wearing in the interim while your sub was on loan?

That’s funny since my lady goes straight for the gold... I even made a rational appeal to her about how heavy the CHNR is vs my Sub but she’s not having it.

Looks right at home on your wrist.
