What is the shortest time span Rolex has every made a SS sport model? (years). Wasnt the BLNR only 5 yrs?

Believe it is the 116600 sd4k but could be wrong? In modern times at least.

BLNR is still made, changing bracelets and updating the movement doesn't really change that IMHO. Its still the same basic watch.

I go with the SD4K also.

i agree on the sd4k but re the blnr: changed dial, changed bracelet, changed lug holes, changed hands, changed movement... only thing that didnt change is color of bezel so not sure i agree with you. i can say the same thing about the zenith 16520 and the 4130 daytona 116520 (same amount of differences).

With that logic, Explorer Mk1 is also 5 yrs production. Hands and dial update after 5 yrs!

I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree.

Same as saying they still make a submariner even though the 6 digit has more visual changes than the older models.
And when OR IF the next version sub gets the updated movement we aren't going to say its gone out of production then either.

Its still a Rolex GMT master II with black and blue bezel, blue gmt hand and black dial. The rest is in the details no one will notice. Even Rolex still call it a BLNR. Its not like they will make a different blnr next year with coke colors.
