The seat belt smack.

Just seat belt smacked the BLNR and wanted to share how angry I am about it. This is the number one way I get dings in my watches, I need to start grabbing the belt with my right hand.

Whats the most common way you ding your watch?

Done that a couple of times. I’m pretty careful so I don’t have something that happens all the time.

I’m always careful with my seatbelt, because it don’t want it smacking the pillar of my car......not scratching my watch is a bonus.

Airplane seatbelt buckle, door frame or door handle, “helping people” aka semi-manual labor I wasn’t planning to do in advance.

I’ve just decided that’s life when you choose to wear a watch.

Stone walls are always fun to bump into as well... I've done the seatbelt thing also

Really doesn't happen to me often.

I'll knock mine under a table when I'm getting up sometimes

The worst part about this thread is I can "hear" the sound the dings make in my head. I'm overly-careful with my DJ, but it has had a few love taps.

The worst dings have come from rock climbing, building a stone wall and mechanical work.

The toilet paper holder is something that I’ve learned to watch out for. Maybe it’s my OCD, but I’ve developed a wrist awareness while wearing my watch. Some things are just accidents and are unavoidable, but it’s those predictable things that would drive me nuts if I dinged my watch as a result of them.

Yep, especially since you have pretty good momentum as your watch clicks against 15 rows of steel. I haven’t done it with a Rolex but with others.
