First scratch on YG sub
It’s always the first that stings the worst. Went out for
Mother’s Day brunch, after few too many tequilas I bumped into a glass door with my wrist and got my first scratch. I was really upset for about an hour but I’m starting to feel better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sorry to hear it.
If anything at least you know how it was done. Nothing worse than finding a scratch with no idea how it got there. |

Don’t want to be bearer of bad news but from that photo, looks like the lugs where touch bracelet have had a rough time as well.

That’s probably a reflection from the flash of the water spots. I rinsed it right before taking the pic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That is nothing to fret over. I also have a YG Sub/blue dial. More scuffs and hairlines to come. It is the nature of the beast. But after owning SS &TT, nothing beats the feel and glow of gold!

I’ve put some scratches like that on my watches and it stinks. You notice them less and less after a while.

Ye that’s what everyone tells me. Maybe in like 5-10 years I’ll have it cleaned up if it gets worse. For now I’m not touching it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Dont worry about it, its inevitable on all PM pieces. Wear the hell out of it and get some more to blend it all in.

That's one of the reasons I chose the DD. Can't really see scratches on the bracelet at all. It would bug the crap out of me, too.

I like the DD40 but It’s a little too dressy for my style. I’m 31 yrs old and have the luxury of being able to dress down on a daily basis so i def get a lot more use out of the sub. Plus the glidelock is just amazing compared to the other clasps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

But think of how you will lovingly reflect on this precious memory.
Kidding, I hate when people say that. It’s in a fairly small area, I would think any competent watchmaker could polish that out, no? |

Probably but I’m not going to polish it now. It’s still brand new too me. Only 2 months old. I’m sure I’ll get some more over time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It’s fine. Swap the bracelets on either side and you won’t ever see it. You can also touch it up with a scotchbrite pad. I’d just leave it until the next service.

I like the idea is swapping sides. Didn’t think of that. I won’t be touching it up tho. I’m sure I’ll get some more Scratches over time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When you do this, be sure to count the number of links on each side so you can maintain the balance of the clasp’s position underneath your wrist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
