Can anyone decipher what these inner caseback markings mean?
When was it serviced and if possible by whom?
I am referring to the markings that appear with a magic marker put on by a human, not the stampings.

I’ve gone down this road once before with a watch of mine. From all the info I could gather I came to the conclusion that there really is no “universal” language for these markings. I’d be interested in learning anything if anyone knows anything

Expect they are watchmaker service marks most all watchmakers when they service a watch either scratch or mark the case back for future reference looks like timing results.

Everything is digital these days, no need to leave a mark. But it used to be very common indeed.

Initials, date and a job number are the most common marks. Not very common to describe the work done as few watchmakers would leave marks unless it was a service.

As Bas has said it is getting less common than it used to be, but there are still plenty of watch makers doing it. Including RSC London.
