Beautiful gesture, Joe.

Give those 2 daughters of yours a big hug from me.

Ronan is sick, guys.....very, very sick. He just can't seem to be able to retain any food. John and Jasmine are giving him the best and most expensive special food......but he shuns most of it.

This afternoon he had a special chicken and carrot soup which took poor Jasmine over 4 hours to simmer. Ronan took almost 2 hours to eat it.........and 5 minutes later vomits the whole thing out!!

The boy is down from a strapping 76 lbs. to a miserable 58 lbs. - having lost a whopping 18 lbs. now!! The boy is all skin and bones. Without his shirt, you can see his entire vertebral column and his complete rib cage. His hands and legs are toothpicks, his neck oh so spindly and he's looking absolutely pathetic.

Doctors have advised him NOT to attend school because his immunity system has been shot to hell. He is extremely susceptible to any and all diseases......and it's just terrible.

Poor Jasmine just keeps breaking down and crying all the time - she can't take any of this any longer and I'm not sure when she's going to have a nervous breakdown.

It's terrible.......and we don't know what the hell to do!!! Only prayers and good thoughts will help now - I hope!!

JJ

Definitely UC!! Crohns was ruled out when they took his Barium test.

Yes, ULCERATIVE COLITIS can be a real menace to such a small boy. It has turned him from a strapping young lad into a fragile piece of China glass.

JJ, I am sure you have the best medical care for him. Does it make any sense to bring him to a Eurpoean or US hospital-i.e. Johns Hopkins or Mayo Clinic? I am making the presumption that those options may be better with pediatric specialties but I may be wrong. Hang in there.

I don't know what to say JJ, other than that he is in my thoughts. I know what it is to see a loved one battling an illness and not being able to do something yourself.
