10 years and the first time ever - Double Incoming

With watch prices getting so crazy, it was time to part with one of my favorites, by doing so, it allowed me to do something I have never done before.

A double incoming!

Was able to turn one into two, and very happy with the result.

A new BLRO, and the SD43!!!

VERY awesome! Love the BLRO that will be my next purchase assuming they don’t go super crazy. I’m a newbie I just bought my first Rolex today. Picked up a brand new sub with date!

I was certain it would be a pair of Timex Ironman, given your other posts.

Oh man, that is my ultimate duo right there Tom. I’m desperately trying to get my hands on both. Any particular one stand out from first impressions?

P.S. huge congrats.

For someone who is more used to 41-44mm watches, the Pepsi felt small, but feels great on the jubilee. This SD feels good after you remove the divers extension. Likely the Pepsi will be more of a daily in rotation with my Omega Moonphase.

As to marketing as someone else pointed out...

This is my second Pepsi, my first was a 5 digit, another one of the ‘regret I traded category’. This is also my second SD, I had one of the first ones, and ended up selling it to free up funds back in 17... Who could have predicted the run up of prices. My AD offered me a dated sub, but I have had so many come and go, at least 7-8, I just wanted something different.

I’m waiting on a BLNR from my AD, (sorry, not calling it batgirl, whoever came up with that should be banned lol) so I will have both there.

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone!
