RubberB Strap Issue

I decided to get a RubberB strap for my newly acquired 16570 Explorer II few weeks ago. I was pretty happy with the fit overall. I wore it this morning for the third time, and this happened

Obviously not happy about this given the money that I have spent. I have contacted them for support but I doubt I will be a repeat customer.

Would be nice to see... I can’t imagine what would happen to a rubber watch strap after only 3 uses

Bummer, not sure why the link is not working. Anyway the strap itself is fine but one of the loops broke into half. In the grand scheme this is minor issue but still for a $240 dollars strap I wouldn't expect this to happen. This could be anomaly...

I emailed customer support and they are shipping new loops. So at least kudos to them for fast response.

Could be an anomaly but also you could've gotten it caught on to something or maybe you adjusted the loop tugging on the end of the band instead of using your hand? That happened to me with a leather strap once. Glad to see they took care of you.

Zoinks! You've taken a wrong turn. Let's split up, gang. If you're looking for an image, it's probably been deleted or may not have existed at all.

So - did something happen or didn't it. :)

link works for me.

Seems weird that a keeper could just break, nothing is really putting much pressure on it.

Maybe something caught on it or physically damaged it. Either way, glad Rubber B is sending you new ones.

It is just the keeper thankfully, I am sure if you reach out to Rubber B they will send you a new one for a very small fee.

I’m glad that they sorted it for you! I like the color combination you chose! I have the all red for my five digit polar

Was able to see now... that’s weird indeed! That said, the strap looks nice on the watch! Hope you get more use and enjoyment once sorted out.

Sorry to see this and I would contact Rubber B customer service and tell them what happened. I’m sure they will be glad to take care of you and I’ve had great experiences with them in the past. They practically know me (or at least humor me) as I’ve had at least 5 different Rubber B straps in the past I years.

Cheers, Jonathan

You are the second post this month with a rubberb failing. Look it up.

I really like rubber straps but I prefer my SD with his steel oyster for safety.
