Peel stickers or na

After a new watch purchase do you peel off the stickers immediately or let them come off on their own?

My AD said Rolex requires them to take the stickers off. I didn't have a choice :(

I wanted the one on the clasp left in place

Same here. And they snap pictures after every peel. Very anal about it actually.

They don't come off on their own. They stay there looking dirty.

In the US (to my understanding) the AD’s are required to remove them.

But to answer, yes, take them off right away!

Do you leave the plastic on your furniture?

C'mon, man. These threads are getting kinda silly. Take off the stickers. Enjoy your watch. Do you leave the paper floor mats in your car after you leave the dealership? Does your couch have the squeaky plastic on it? Do you leave the plastic on your new LCD TV?

I have seen folks who do that, just like those who leave the tags on their suits and blazers....I always think leaving the stickers on makes me feel like I can't enjoy it and wear it care free.

Judging by the OP's question, answers to yours could very well be yes.

Out of curiosity, do you leave price tags on when you buy clothing? There’s no right or wrong answer, if you do maybe you should keep the stickers on the watch to keep the look uniform

with my latest watch i didn't have a choice, the AD took them off for me even though I asked to have them left on, but I agree with others, if it is going to be worn then peel them off.

Same. Also, the sticker removal was also described to me as the indicator that my purchase was final

Stainless steel refrigerators, new cars and even sunglasses arrive with some sort of protective film or protective material in some location. TVs have a frontal decal for store display purposes to show resolution and color depth etc. I have been in quirky households where the owner was too lazy to remove these coverings or doesn't care about aesthetics.

Its a pretty sad world we live in overall

It's best to just pay for it and have the AD keep it in their safe for you. They will likely charge you $20/month but it's cheap insurance.

Many people leave the little sticker on crystal, the sticker that says the brand, I find it interesting, On a vase, ok. but drinking glasses that you rinse and reuse it’s pretty interesting.

Put the watch in a glass of warm water, after a few minutes all the stickers float to the top.

If you think the guy with stickers on his baseball hat is a fool, your watch should be naked.

The last 4 purchases the AD removed the stickers as directed by Rolex. One of those was a Tudor.
