Which way to turn crown on 3235 movement to set time?

I noticed that my new SD43 turns counterclockwise to move the hands forward in time. All of my other Rolex's, the crown turns clockwise to advance the time. This is my first 3235 movement watch, which I bought from AD.

This is probably one of the stupidest questions, but it is weirding me out. Is this correct for this movement?

The 32xx movements are miniature time machines and let you go back in time when you set them.

What you're experiencing is correct.

It depends which way round the watch is when you are adjusting it.

Yes, it is correct.

And also with the 32xx calibres for the first time you 'll hear the movement of the rotor due to the new ball bearing system (versus the the older sleeve type bearing)

The 32xx isn't the first time Rolex have used a ball bearing rotor.

There's the 4030, 4130, 4161 and 9001 to name a few

It's true ! My bad.

The funny thing since i have owned the 116520 with the 4130 calibre, i'm almost sure that there was no sound coming from the rotor although it had the ball bearing system !

Crown counterclockwise to move hands clockwise is correct in the 3235 movement. It also scared the heck out of me despite buying from an AD. I can't imagine what it would have been buying from grey.

I almost got a heart attack after paying for the 41mm bluesy from a private seller and got the watch verified at OCRolexguy in Huntington Beach CA. After two hour of research...the caliber 3235 counter clockwise is the right way.������

Yes, it is actually a "feature" along with more precise time setting , in other words it gives you more granularity in the smaller finite movements so you can easily set the minutes.

Got my first rolex a bluesy sub from AD and I was freaking out because I was seeing some videos of older submariners that said the crown should move clockwise to advance the time.
