If you could only wear one watch for the rest of your life what would it be?

Great choice! I have yet to see one in person so I can see size, but it looks like a winner.

Half the reason I click on the WRUW threads is to see Dr. Robert's 1655 Explorer II. I love that watch.

Although I don't own one, and probably never will, I can't imagine a better watch to wear with a t-shirt and swim trunk to the beach and pool. The ultimate vacation watch IMO

Agreed on the Explorer 214270 if I had to choose only one for the rest of my life. Full lumed dial, though. Works as a sport watch and dress. Perfect.

A Rolex pared down to the point of nothing else needing to be removed. This would be Saint-Exupery's watch.

A perfect watch, beautiful choice. When you look down at it, you must think of all the places you’ve been when changing the hour.

Yes, that's what I am calling it. At some point something about the design will change to alter the 50th look. I'm being proactive. Great watch.
