Rolex Day Date or ...

Vacheron Constantin FiftySix Day Date

https://www.vacheron-constantin.com/...000a-b437.html

I love both of these watches. But which one would you choose?

I'm not sure at 15k id do either, but very different watches.

Maybe a used calatrava? or if you want Gold, maybe a used PM pre-ceramic sub?

DD just don't do it for me.

Day date for sure imho.... From a practical perspective you don't lose too much with a day date!

Much more difficult question than the click bait title would suggest. I guess my answer depends on the make up of your collection. If you are already Rolex heavy and want to diversify, VC is a great option. If this is your first PM watch, I might say DD YG, classic.

I’d probably go Patek annual calendar for my collection.

I consider the DD the ultimate watch...but can not go wrong with a VC. Buy the one you like the best!

That VC looks very good but... for me, Day Date is on top of my list so, I would go with the latter.

This is more of a contender with a 5035

The movement alone is worth the price for VC. But only used.
