I need a new watch(SOTC)

Hello everyone,

I want to get some idea on what should I add to my current collection. I’m thinking about getting something YG or RG.

Here’s what I have right now.

Thanks in advance,
B

Definitely need gold to this collection. I suggest Day Date 40mm, RG with olive dial

Hey B, it's your son. Can I borrow on watch for the weekend?

In all seriousness, a Day-Date? That or a Patek Nautilus if you like them.

Not sure what you're trying to spend but a classic AP Royal Oak Chrono would be a great addition as well.

Something with a white or silver face. White DJ41, YG DD40 w/ white or silver face, or YM with the rhodium dial come to mind.

Assuming the jeweled GMT is yours...why not a RG rainbow Daytona or a RG 5712?

Or if strictly Rolex and since you have the CHNR already, get the 116515LN with diamond markers.

You don't 'need' a new watch. You 'want' a new watch. Which is also fine :)

I'm with the Day Daters. RG or YG and Olive dial with Roman Numerals please.

According to, "Building a Generic Watch Collection for Dummies" a 5711 is next.

Otherwise, find something that actually sings to you for forget what anyone else things.

Very nice collection B

Unfortunately, my head would hurt owning that many pieces, so I can’t help you

DD40 would make a great addition to an already awesome collection.

Beautiful collection you have there. I'm thinking a Rose Gold DD40, Olive Romans maybe...

Hot Take here, But I would consider consolidating before adding. Dont get me wrong, I would kill for any of those pieces. But I see alot of redundancies. If it were me I would keep the daytona, batman, hulk and AP. Then I would try and get as much as possible for everything else and buy a DD40 and 5711. Just my opinion

might keep the Smurf tbh

I guess “need” is relative
If you wanted YG or RG you could/would have gotten one by now, you sure you want one?
I agree with others, the DD40 would work nicely here.
Nice collection and thanks for sharing

Yep. This. Big, yellow gold, if you can pull off YG. (Or perhaps the meteorite dial WG GMT 116719, so you have a light colored dial.)

Great collection!!
