Wife was in London last week and.....
She went to Rolex in Bond street looking for an SS DJ41 with the Wimbledon dial. She was told 3 to 6 months to get one and 10 to 12 months for the blue dial. Ridiculous.
The only SS model in store was black dial with diamond markers. On the way back to the hotel she stopped in Aspreys in Bond St too and asked for the same models but was offered a platinum DD instead. Not exactly comparable so not sure what the salesperson was thinking there. Seems like the simple DJ41 is also suffering the same supply and demand problems as the sports models so looks like I’m hitting up the grey dealers now!! |

3-6 months is not long to wait, but yes a grey can scratch that itch much quicker.

Any 36 or 41 with batons and a blue dial will have a waiting list in London,,,
It wouldn’t surprise me if the ADs start holding warranty cards back for the above,,, |

I was yesterday at my (grey) seller of my DJ41 Wimbledon and he also told me that i was a lucky one, because this model is almost not available anymore at AD's.
There are plenty available at Chrono24 though...maybe an idea?
