Thoughts on this deal?

Hello all, looking for a 116520 black. Found this listing...Too good to be true? Exchanged emails and no immediate red flags inside of them. I'm 90% sure it's a scam...

If you don’t know the seller you should protect yourself. I wouldn’t wire money.

Agreed. Would going through PayPal (and negotiating him to eat the 3%) protect me enough?

Going to repeat. Stay away. This guy almost got me a couple of months back, I asked for a timestamp shot and he never answered.

Edit: I did not even know that website existed until I saw all the super low pricing, and possible scams. I only trust members who are established and that can provide proper identification of what they are selling.

OP - I always ask sellers to print todays CNN page and place the watch on top and send me a photo. 9 times out of 10 I never hear back again (scam). Be very very careful wiring money in response to ads online unless the seller is well known and you have proved that the seller is in fact this well known seller. Because, people sometimes masquerade as a well known seller but, are imposters. Money motivates delinquents to become amazingly creative.

Honestly it seems like everything posted on Chronocentric these days is OBVIOUS SCAM. Way toooo good to be true.
Asking price is about half of what it should be.
Only accepts "Bank Wire".

These scams pop up 20 times a day on Chronocentric.
For some reason the MODs do absolutely nothing to mitigate these posts. Seems like they should put in some stricter requirements for FS posts in light of all the scammers.

Timezone has also been very odd lately, and then one day last month I get a PM here asking if I sent references from TZ. No I did not, I reported the problem to TZ and they BANNED me. Ridiculous, I have been there since 2004.

Therefore, more than even I am super diligent on buying anything from anybody. They must be established, and they must be able to verify themselves and the watch before I move forward. I suggest everybody do the same.
