Incoming BLRO
Chaps,
Got my BLRO yesterday. Had it sized at Rolex London, one link removed. Fit is great. Case wears larger than 40mm but comfortable. I have the full box, with all tags and bezel cover ;-) Delighted but the bezel colour is a little odd - it almost looks faded. Just wish the blue bit was actually blue. #firstworldproblems And it makes my 16610 look tiny in comparison, and my 17014 even smaller. SY. |

Was all this MK1 vs MK2 bezel stuff true, or let me put it this way... is there further evidence of colour variation, the earlier examples versus the later stuff? I think mine is quite light in the flesh but I've only seen one other example, which was also quite light in terms of colour.

Then he really wouldn’t like the MK1
Not an issue for those of us who love the reference regardless of what the bezel is called Congratulations btw, it’s an amazing reference |

Having worn a Sub 16610 for 21 years, it was only rarely spotted by others.
The GMT however has been on my wrist since Tuesday and it’s been commented upon daily! Have others found this? I truly love it. Anyone sitting on this reference should not hesitate in enjoying it. Don’t flip for a profit. Unless you can replace it ;-) The colour changing bezel is fun. Almost looks coke like in this out of sunlight shot, taken in the car with my ageing iPhone 7 Plus.
