I’m getting fat

It’s a fact not a if... this year gained 20 lbs. but I’m still lifting heavy. Just need to tier down at some point. But other than being fatter, I don’t really have a catalyst to get me to go start my diet...

Oh well

How bought u guys/gals

I lost 10 pounds by wearing a nicotine patch. Suppresses appetite.

Make a 6 week achievable goal, then a plan , then work towards it. Don’t give up

Haha this sounds exactly like me. I was around 170, really good shape, doing triathlon blah blah. Decided to stop triathlon, proceeded to stop working out for over a year, gained 20 lbs but felt great! Now I’m back to around 175 and did it with eliminating snacking and watching my diet.

By watch my diet i mean, when i eat a double bacon cheese burger, i eat a few salads. I try to stay away from sugar whenever possible. I wasn’t willing to do a lot of work but i can watch what i eat, that’s easy enough. I was really just hoping to go from 3 chins to 2 chins.

Will the next 20? Because it’ll be easier to gain it than the first 20. Find where you’re happy and draw the line, if it’s now then make sure you do enough to stay here.

If you can’t see your Johnson when you look down then that would definitely indicate being too fat.

Did you need to quit smoking or was it for the weight loss?

I was using it to quit vaping. But it was good for weight, and I figured at least the impact of nicotine on the body is well researched, unlike many diet pills on the market

Suffered a life changing injury 6 years ago. I was very very active previously.

Medication messed my metabolism and I quickly gained 3 stone.

Recently decided to change things, I hit the gym focusing on cardio and dropped my calorie intake by a 1/4. Lost a stone in 4 weeks and now finding my balance point.

Personally i found it fairly easy, only challenge being when your counting calories you crave them far more.

I lost 20lbs earlier this year and I’ve gained back 10. I need to build up the motivation to get serious. Cut the extra snacks and alcohol. That does the trick.

I'd recommend getting a Peloton. I got one about a year and a half ago and have been down 15-20 pounds.

Not sure of the point of the post.....
Are you looking for help to find a catalyst?
Saying you’re good with where you are?
Looking for something?.....or just stating facts?

Gotcha.....are you a younger man? Older wiser man?
Into sports of any kind? Hobbies besides watches? Have a body type you’d like to strive for?
I’d start there with the questions...

The fact that you are posting here kind of shows you already have one. If you want to lose weight, just do it.

I am not fat, but got sick of the pudgy belly, so a month ago I started running. It sucked, but I have kept at it and have started to see progress. I run every night now, even with a cracked rib. I never ate sugar much, but I also made a conscious effort to eat less crap at night too.

Dude, look at the meals you post!

I feel you cause I love to eat fine food and drink.

I'm 5'10" and weigh 195. Looking to get to 175. I do the treadmill every day at the gym - about 3.5 miles and 355 calories.

For me, it's portion control. Last night I made whole wheat penne with sauteed eggplant, tomatoes, onions, garlic, hot pepper flake and fresh basil at the end. Of course I ate like a pound of it and grated the obligatory block of fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano to make a kilo of coke sized mound on top

In the end, it'll be up to you. When you look in the mirror and are finally repulsed by what you see, you'll make the move That'll be the catalyst.

I started growing a pair of bitch titties and that was enough for me

You haven’t seen the meals I haven’t posted lol. I don’t have time to do gym every day. I just go to the gym every saturday/sunday. I enjoy lifting heavy

I had sushi at Sakura last night

I don’t have boobs yet lol. I actually bench 2 plates each side. :)

Just getting fat.

Buy larger trousers.

Eat more ice cream. Your weight concern seems to be marginal, at best. Ice cream is the universal cure for all marginal concerns.
