Help buying a Tudor Sub 79090

Looking for a Mercedes hands black Tudor sub 79090.

Struggling to work out why some are so much more expensive than others.

Happy with a 90s watch. Love the plexi crystal. Also happy without a bracelet.

C24 it ranges from £3900-6000. Often not clear why.

Help?

Other than condition etc, the big price difference is between 36mm models and 40mm models, don't know if they share the same reference number.

Different reference on the 36mm. There are some nice watches still avail around $5kusd. Variables like dial and bracelet (and papers / no papers) make prices vary a lot. There’s also the blue set which trades about 30-40% over the black set. Find the best combo of condition and dial - try to avoid a service set, and fire away. Glgl

I'm also in the market for a 79090 or a 79190 as a cheaper and more readily available alternative to a Rolex sub.

It does seem more challenging to find either reference in very good condition and the prices i'm seeing mostly reflect condition and availability of box/papers.

Anything Tudor experts can recommend to be particularly mindful of when buying a Tudor sub? Thanks.

Chrono 24 seems over priced on everything. Tried haggling. No one interested. I’m sure it’s the commission they have to pay to C24.

Anyone know if my Rolex 6 digit bracelet would fit a 79090 if I did get one?

I wouldn't go off C24 prices. Use watchrecon and see what things are being offered for and what price they actually sold for. Ebay is a ok reference too when you sort by sold listings.

Given what we know about six digit bracelets I don’t believe they are an option. If the case had no holes it would be a different story. On a positive not 93150 and 62510 w correct endlinks will fit which allows for addition of six digit clasps.
