For those that own the Daytona, where do you keep the seconds hand at?

@ 12 o'clock position.

Have on occasion stopped the chrono hand @ the 38min marker, just gives the dial a much cleaner look.

I keep it running in sync with the small seconds hands and use it as running second

I keep it at the 20 second mark (4 o’clock) if it’s not running. I like keeping the the upper section clear.

The seconds hand of my Daytona is always running and the chrono hand is always at the 12 o'clock position when not in use.

but i do run my chrono sweep hand most of the time. had a coworker once ask me “dude why is your seconds hand broken?”

My second hand is always running when I am wearing the watch.

If you are talking about the stopwatch seconds hand, it is stopped until I engage the chronograph function.

12 hand but turn it on occasionally, i believe in “moving the whole movement mechanism” haha

This doesn't really apply to a chronograph, these mechanisms are lightly lubricated at the pivots. Keeping it constantly running might shorten the service time a fair bit.

Chrono always running. Chrono hand is 30 seconds different from the seconds hand. It’s fun to see them running parallel together

Do it and you’ll see. The second hand and the chrono hand look parallel to each other as they rotate. That is, until they cross at the 12 and the 6. It just looks neat.
For functional purposes, I suppose you could use it as a measure to see if one function is running slower than the other week after week.
