Would you trade in a 214270(EXP1) & 214270(EXPII) for Two tone CHNR?
On the fence guys, thanks in advance.
Edit: 216570 (EXPII Black dial), also note I just picked up an SD43 and thought it would go well with the CHNR. |

For me, no way.
I think you’ve got a perfect combo right now. Exp 1 and Exp 2 are two of my favorites. I say enjoy what you have but it’s your call. No question that right now you have two really cool watches and hard to think of a situation where one or both wouldn’t fit perfectly. |

I think you mean 214270 MkI & 214270 MkII. Remember, no such thing as an Explorer I,
just Explorer & Explorer II. Best to clarify things and avoid confusion. |

Not to try to steer you to my tastes. If you really want the Chnr and your Explorers aren't getting it for you anymore then yes, I'd say do it. I have a Polar and a Blnr, I'm not a big TT fan but the Chnr is the first one I've seen that is changing my mind. No doubt it's a beauty as the RG really works with that killer dial and bezel.

So much I’m selling the polar (and a PO) for a Wimbledon DJ but am considering chnr or tt YM1 rose gold if I can’t get one in 2019 (birth year watch). |

There's just something about the CHNR, I haven't even seen it in person, but I can tell it's special.

Yes, 2 easy to get for 1 hard to get. I got the CHNR first last years and picked up an Ex2 16570 this year for everyday wear. I’m not a fan of the 6 series explorer range.

I would consider the trade. I guess it comes down to your wrist time though with the current 2 pieces you have

The CNHR is nice looking piece, the best of the TT’s. I say that not being one for two tone pieces.
I do think value wise it’s a good trade.

Value wise this trade sucks. But I would rather have the CHNR than those two pieces.

No. Keep the Explorer II 216570. Just save up to get the CHNR. Good luck.

Without a second’s hesitation, yes!
With your SD50, the CHNR is a much better companion than the Explorer and Explorer II, IMHO. |
