Should I call RSC for an update?

I sent my watch to Toronto RSC through an Ad and I gave my approval for service mid June. How long should I expect to wait for a complete overhaul? Should I call and ask if they are going to ship it back soon?

Not sure if things are different up in Canada but I did the same thing you did. I let an AD send it in. When I called the RSC to check on the progress, they would not discuss anything with me about the watch and referred me to the AD.

Never did that again.

I asked my AD and they told me to contact RSC if I have questions. I think it is different here. I don’t want to make seen like I’m rushing them but I’m impatient.

Then you should be good to go. Give them a call.

Since you sent it through an AD I’d go through them. In the future I wouldn’t go through an AD. AD is just a middleman and slows things up.

Update: I called them just now and was told they’re doing a final inspection. Can’t wait to get it back!! It’s going to be my daily wear.

Good deal - so the Toronto RSC felt comfortable talking to you despite the watch being sent by the AD?

Earlier this year for a warranty issue with the winding it took exactly 6 weeks to the day to get it back from RSC Toronto. I went through the AD.

From what I gather it takes longer to go through the AD as they probably don't send your watch out immediately, there's probably a bi-weekly shipment out.

Yeah they just asked for my service number and didn’t mention the AD at all.

It's funny how some people are hesitant or need permission to call RSC as if there is some protocol. It's your watch, you're paying them so call. Whats the worse thing that can happen?

Call RSC direct. I always do. They’re very polite and will answer your questions, or should do.
