I have the 116519LN with a E strap on the 6 o'çlock and a F strap on the 12 o'clock. Is it strange if i turn the straps around?

Not strange at all but the clasp might not be centered as typically the shorter side should be on the 6 o'clock side but never know unless you try it out.

How does it fit now and why would you want to switch them?

As long as you are comfortable with it.
Or check your other Rolex with oyster bracelet, “E” means 5 links and “F” means 6 links.
