Incoming: Perhaps the Perfect Watch?

Super excited to receive and wear this watch! Might not be the most expensive grail but it ticks all the boxes. Much more comfy on my wrists than the 16600/114060.

Took it out into the wild for the first time at the Zoo:

Ostrich

Elephant

Giraffe

Jellyfish

Ugly mutts

Fish sticks

Fish box

Two tone Frog

Leg chompers

I dont even

Bats

Geico

This snake was REALLY interested and followed my watch around

Super joyed!

Congratulations! Have you considered wearing the watch behind your wristbone (further back from your hand)?

Looks like it's pinching the back of your hand below the bone there...pretty watch!

The greatest ceramic Rolex ever made, in my humble opinion! Amazing. I love my sub but considered trading UP to your new beauty multiple times.

How do you find the comfort so far? Read it doesn’t wear as comfortable for daily, which deterred me.

Thoughts?

Yeah I do. I hate it moving around.

This watch being tall actually pinches alot less than 114060 or 16610's.

It looks off to me when I do that.

Very comfortable. I'm used to wearing SKX007 on a Strapcode Angus Jubilee (190 gm) so this is actually light.

I know you weren’t asking for advice about how you wear your watch, but you got some anyway! :)

When I was a young man, it looked “off to me” also wearing my watches “ above the bone.” Wearing my new Submariner as an older man, I tried it and soon not only got used to it, but wouldn’t now wear it any other way. Above the bone, the watch “disappears” as far as feeling and comfort are concerned. Also, the winding crown no longer gouges into your hand.

I also wear mine quite snug and it doesn’t move around at all.

Just a little more unsolicited advice... you might try it snug above the wrist bone for awhile.

Great watch! Now I know it’s safe to wear at the Zoo!

Hmm, I'll actually try that. Thanks!

Thanks for being so gracious about my unsolicited advice!

Another thought: considering part of the issue is how it “looks off to you,” you might also want to try viewing it from another angle, instead of just straight down as when checking the time. Look at it in the mirror or a reflection as you pass by. Your watch, wrist and arm look different from different views.

Thanks again,

Michael

I have to agree with Michael. I wear my watch snug proximal to the wrist bone. But that’s because my work entails working with my hands.

However, you wear it how it’s comfortable for you OP.

Congrats. If I ever pick up a Submariner/ SeaDweller variant, it would be this one. Wear in good health!
