Incoming Seiko SARB033

This is a cool little watch. Pretty subdued, under the radar, but really nice details if you look closely. Nice movement, 6R15. Winds buttery smooth, I particularly like that the crown is of a nice size, easy to grip, non-screw down, helpful for ease of setting and topping up. Nice sharp hands with lume.

I’m thinking about putting it on black alligator (or similar) to dress it up, but checking out the bracelet for now. Surprisingly pretty nice, with a nice polished outer edge and milled clasp. Super comfortable. Great size at 38mm. Nice case lines and edges between brushed and polished surfaces. Wears thin. Just works!!

Nice! I picked up the 035 cream dial version a few weeks back. They are very nice watches for the money, and super versatile.

Beautiful watch great value. I had the 035 with the cream dial but it was stolen when my car got broken into a couple of months ago. I had it in my brief case to take it for a service still missing it. I have the snowflake now so no point of replacing it. As a matter of fact the 035 was so nice I had trouble justifying paying 20 times for a snowflake. Enjoy it in good health

My 033 had issue with its 6R15 movement... liked the watch aesthetically but was pretty bitter with my other SARB as well.

Update: I outfitted this baby on a genuine Seiko Alligator grain strap (briefly considered a few genuine alligator options, but couldn’t justify the cost). What do you think? Not a bad “dress it up” alternative, but I like the bracelet too. Good to have options.

I think that looks great. I recently ordered two colareb straps for my 035. Can't wait to see how they turn out. I want to add a croc strap (or croc style) at some point also.

Recently have been really attracted to the sarb033. Got onlne and bought one from Japan. Im surprising myself at how much im enjoying this watch. Immediately took it off the bracelet and have been wearing it on a brown suede colareb strap. The size and simplicity of the watch really has been getting under my skin. Cant take it off.
