I was 15 (in 1971). I fell in love with the Turdor Sub in the window of the Rolex dealer in Tripoli, Libya. Pardon the picture, it's not very flattering.

Brian, that is a great pic, great story and above all, a great watch I have pics of when I bought my first Tudor Sub when I was 24 (in 1984) but you can't really see the watch in them

It was the summer of 2008 at the age of 23, I remember it like it was yesterday that I bought my first Rolex (a Sea Dweller).
Now, two Rolexes later, I'm considering another watch. Either the new TT sub, the Yacht-Master, the SS GMTIIC or the IWC Ingenieur. It will take a while to narrow down the alternatives |

I bought my first when I was 39, but I have inherited one from my father when I was 7.

No damn wonder I don't get half the stuff going on around here. You're a bunch of kids.

Saved all summer long and went into JB Hudson in the Southdale Mall with cash. Father was not too happy. But he did talk me into a Datejust, instead of a Submariner......I still have the Datejust, but now have two Subs |

Guess I was a little older than most...42. I see by the poll results a whopping 3 of us fit into this category. Oh well, better late than never.
