Gmt2 YG green dial or Daytona WG silver dial?

I recently got a smurf and now looking at gmt2 or Daytona:

Saw gmt2 at U$34.7k. Should I pull the trigger?

Get the GMT. I always admired it and thought it would look hideous on me. Tried it on less than probably a year and a half ago - a slightly used one - and it looked amazing, even on my pale white skin. I should have bought - price was $24,500.

I saw one used with 10 month warranty left selling at $31.5k

Brand new dated March 19 at $35k

They will eventually get cheap again, just a matter of how much and when

I was just thinking the same thing! $19k preowned, and I could have had one a couple years back. They just never sang to me like the WG does.

I remember in ~2008 almost buying one for 15,500.... sadly I didn’t have the funds available at that time. 10 years later I paid considerably more

I have the Smurf and don't think you could go wrong with either. Yellow gold does not look right with my skin so I prefer white metal, but only you know what will work for you color-wise. Best of luck.

WG Daytona for me

Mainly because I think it’s virtually perfect for many reasons and I do prefer the older GMTs to the new ones.

YG GMT is my new favorite of the entire line. I saw one in the wild a few months back and it was easily the best looking watch I've spotted on a wrist. Absolutely blown away and I can't understand why it seemed to be underrated for so long?

hard hard choice. In this case I would buy the GMT because I love ceramic.

When is Rolex going to release all these YG/WG models with ceramic bezels and full bracelets. I think there is HEAPS of ppl waiting for that combo

EXACTLY!!! I'm waiting until Rolex releases the ceramic and full bracelet combos. As much as the OF looks ok If i'm paying $30k for a watch I want it on full bracelet.

It looks 10000x better with the ceramic.

AD told me today that some people buy the Ceramic on OF and also a full gold version and then swap out the bracelets...
