Dan - well done! You've found an EXP II

Is it the white dial model?

You'd better get ready for an even wider signature panel

Neil - I've found one (well stumbled upon it !) but haven't pulled the trigger as yet, due to recent expenditure on U-Boat & GMT IIc back in November... Can't justify it to be honest - but will give it some thought Very tempting at that price, all be it 10 years old but never worn !? £3670 is current list - so looks value... Also a GV below list - why is life so difficult !!

Hope you are good mate

Sounds great, Dan, especially with the polar dial - I know you were after one of those.

What a dilemma, with the GV landing on the dock, too

I'm well, thanks and hope you are also, but I hadn't realised that you'd bought a submarine last year

Best regards,

I had the same experience on a white dial SS Daytona that I've been lusting after for a while. The AD called me 3-days after I bought a PAM 190 ....so I actually had to pass.

At least get the Exp II, as I reckon this will be gone in the next year or so. GV will be around for ages and premiums are a thing of the past...

Then you will be free of the terrible urge, and not bothered about further price increases...

Cheers

1999, non SEL, seems a bit dear, not really a rare piece to be called NOS, I'd rather go for LNIB, which is going to run you £2500'ish, and get SEL a year or two old.

I wouldn't consider 2400 GBP a good deal on that watch. If you have been watching on the forum, they're going in the $3000 USD range, some even lower. Certainly nothing to get excited over.

$3000 is a lot to us at the moment fella !!

£2400 isn't amazing I agree, but LNIB appeals. We'll see.. A BNIB from grey dealer could be had for £2800 I'm sure..
