Which watches are on your radar?

I have a small gathering of Rolex watches that I share with my twin brother. We have the BLRO, black Explorer II, Air-King (40mm) and a white Milgauss. We are going to do a little reorganizing and unload the AK and Milgauss, then we are going to add a Submariner. While I'm at it I'm going to see if my AD can get me a steel Daytona. They came through pretty quick on the Pepsi, so why not.

Other watches on my radar include:

Vacheron Fifty Six
JLC Master Control
Omega Speedy Pro
Omega Aqua Terra 150
Panerai Submersible
Polar Explorer II

Just curious which watches are on your radar these days.

Iwc pilot chrono, green or blue dial. Big pilot in bronze is interesting too. On rolex side an sd43.

First on my list is the Explorer, it just looks such a great watch I just have to have one. Next up would be an Oyster Perpetual white dial it just looks soooo cool and finally a Submariner ND because it is the Sub to have.

I am looking at a Junghans, Christopher Ward and a Lum-Tec. More budget watches but very interesting in their own right. And definitely good beaters.

Need a white dial. Thinking OP39 (again and assuming I can add easylink) or a GS GMT.

I am actually wanting to consolidate, not expand my collection. But if I did...

I would probably pick up a TT Daytona black dial. I know I wouldn’t get a new SS Ceramic (1st preference) but I actually like the TT version of the Daytona.

I also would consider the new Cartier Santos.

Good choices Doug. Are you thinking the new blue dial on the Santos? Those are pretty slick. I'm really feeling the Drive de Cartier of late, but they are a little pricey for what they are. Definitely a brand I've paid more attention to of late.

No, only on-line. Mind sharing what disappointed you? I would likely use it at the gym for timing my morning swim.

It looked cheap and felt cheap. And I have nothing against cheap watches. But I found it completely uninspiring. Was really looking forward to the spinning bezel novelty - thinking on it, that was the only aspect I found mildly ok

The oris heritage 65 - black dial big yellow block numerals - now that hit the spot - proper vintage almost identical to the original except size (@40mm few mil bigger) and date placement. Highly recommended

Hopefully you’ll feel different about the longines tho - let us know

interested in the new hacking seconds movement 5711, would probably never get one since I wont pay above retail. My 114060 and 116500 white get most of my wrist time and cover most situations so otherwise im pretty content right now and looking forward to the 2020 announcements in 6 months.
