Daytona, Hulk, Batman, Pepsi, SkyDweller

Which has the longest wait time?

Just by browsing the "incoming"...it looks like Daytona
and GMT(Batman/Pepsi) come in quite frequently so I guess the least wait time. I see the occasional "incoming" for SkyDweller and Hulk. So I guess a longer wait time?

I would like to hear from TRF members which watches they find to have the longest wait times.

Waiting time? Well that depends mainly on your relationship with your AD and how much mula you spend there.
And just remember kid, there ain’t no “waiting list” in the grey market- you can have it tomorrow morning, if you truly want and desperate enough to pay the premium.

Depends on watch and regional demand. Daytona has highest demand. Blue sky Dweller has lowest supply. From there it depends on the tastes of those that shop at your AD.

I think by "least" you meant longest wait time.

Daytona, Hulk, Batman, Pepsi, SkyDweller

I’ve been told by numerous AD’s that they receive the least of the blue dial SkyDweller. There are only a handful trained watchmakers that work on the movement. Make of it as you wish.

Desperate enough to pay the premium ... why the negativity ?

How about rich enough not to give a fudge about a $10k markup ?

Among the watches listed if you plan on getting all the first you’ll be offered by the AD is the BLNR and the last will be the Blue Sky Dweller.

Don’t be fooled by all the incomings you see on here.
Go and ask your AD who can give you an idea but you may have an indefinite wait unless you’re a “spender”

Yeh it all seems to depend on the AD.
I was just told by an AD I’m close to that they get more BLNR than Pepsi and less Pepsi than combined black and white Daytona. Green subs do seem extremely thin on the ground at ADs these days

It depends on many things.

Although - one cannot use TRF to decipher wait times. Think about it - most people will mostly report incomings that WIS’ consider ‘special,’ and thus every single TRF member that gets a White Daytona will post an incoming.

For example, do a search for the number of White Daytona (or even Blue Skydweller) incoming posts with those for an Oyster Perpetual. If one uses number of ‘incoming’ posts as a marker of ‘rarity,’ then references such as the OP would be the hardest watches to get.

TRF will always be biased towards certain watches, and thus every incoming Daytona, GMT etc gets reported.

With that said -> I’d say the rarest reference would be the Blue Skydweller.

Rarest by far on here ... TT DJ 36 because everyone is ashamed to report them as incoming.

That was tongue in cheek.

Real answer: Blue SkyDweller, White Daytona, Black Daytona, YG green dial Daytona, then Pepsi, then LVc, then BLNR, then JC DSSD.

It all depends. A friend of mine received a batman, blue SkyD, Daytona, Hulk in that order.

My AD which I happen to have a great relationship with told me they have received exactly 3 blue Sky Ds since the watch was released. White Daytona is second in scarcity.

All you have to do is look on C24 and you’ll notice less than 90 Blue Sky Ds for sale compared to over 500 Daytona Cs.

That tells a story.

Blue Skydweller, I have all these watches less the BLRO pepsi, do not like the jubilee, but of all the above the Blue Skydweller is the least delivered to an AD.

Some of the smaller ADs I know have not seen one in 2 years.

Vince, what does this tell us?

Do we read into it that the blue Skydweller is simply made in much lower numbers, or not very popular or even maybe not very good?

What you think?
