most legible?

For legibility, i find the DJ 41 black face to be the most readable/legible.. what is your experience?

I have a child learning to tell time, so perhaps I have a different viewpoint than others on this one. For her purposes, I think the submariner no-date is the best as far as legibility goes. It would be better if it had numerical hour markers.

For me, the GMT is crystal clear, no need to mess with perfection.

Agree. My 114060 is the easiest watch to read in my collection. I would say the Explorer is probably next based on the minimalist dial and aesthetics close to the Sub.

Smurf, which is a sub date. Any sub is more legible than a Daytona, and I have owned both.

Most of my watches with the exception of my DJ have black or blue dials. I find they are the easiest to read.

Of my collection by far it's the Pam. Minimal writing on the dial, large hands and oh ya, awesome lume (if that's a factor).

Runner up, Submariner.

Any black dial white hand watch will provide the most contrast

If I understand this correctly you want to know which DJ41 combination is most legible. I would agree that most likely the black dial would be most legible. I have a blue dial 126300 and it is very legible in both lower light and bright light. I have owned the silver dial version, with silver/white gold hands, and it was harder to make out both in bright light and in low light when the lume wasn’t charged. I find white dials to be the same unless the markers are in a darker precious metal. The white dial gets very bright in full sun and the White gold becomes hard to make out. Even the Rhodium dial seemed hard to focus on when I tried one on in a store. If you are going with the more common white gold hand set, on a DJ41, then the darker dials will be best for legibility. Black dial probably the best, then Blue.

Black DJ , then Blue for DJ 41's

Overall my Pelagos has to be the most legible watch I've had
