16610 and 116610 - does anyone own both?
And, if so...why both?
Plenty of threads on the different technical features and comparative aspects of the watches themselves. My question is would you own both? And if you already do - why? I have been a 16610 owner for years and recently acquired a new 116610 which I already love...yet, I don't feel any less love for my older 16610 and am thinking of keeping both. Ben |

Had a 116610ln for a day, sold it and instantly regretted it although I did have the 116619lb so it felt a little redundant. I think if you can afford to keep both definitely do it. The 16610s at least IMO are fun to change onto different straps to change things up. It wears much slimmer so it feels like a completely different watch. I now have the three pictured below that are probably the last three I would ever sell.

I have both versions. The 16610 was my first Rolex which I received as a gift in 2007. I purchased the 116610 in 2016 for the clasp and new case. Although I wear the newer watch more often, I break out the old one from time to time when I'm feeling nostalgic. It's like a well worn chair that sits just right. The 16610 is the last watch in my collection I would ever part with.

Sold the 16610 because I liked the 116610 better.

I have not two but all three, like the above poster. 5513, 16610 and both smurf + hulk. They’re all very different pieces aesthetically and mechanically in the case of the first two.

I have both the 16610LN, 116610LV and 116600.
Usually prefer the 16610LN, but since I’e added a new Glidelock clasp and the AR-crystal from 116610 on it, there aren’t any features from the two younger siblings that I feel like I’m missing... Would most likely sell the 116610LV first, and then the 116600 before selling my 16610. It simply works with everything. Bracelet, leather straps, NATO, rubber etc.. the lugs and crown guards on the modern Ceramic Sub makes it aestetically chunky in a non-flattering way. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk |

Not exactly. I have the 116619lb and the 16613.
The 16613 was inherited from my dad, so I will always cherish it. And the 116619lb is just freaking awesome. Right now it gets 100% of the wrist time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
