Note:- both watches to purchased on same day.

Is it worth to spend 22k for both or should I wait 3 months plus for getting black date sub Ss

That depends if you want both watches. If you want both, great go for it. If you’re only buying the DJ to get the sub wait or go gray.

ou could buy the sub from a Trusted Seller for not too much of a premium. You would save a bunch of money AND you would not be reinforcing extortionate behavior of the AD. Justrolexes and OCROlexguy are two in our area. OCrolexguy is in LA. Send him a PM asking for a price.

I literally needs to do this. AD store is third class don’t compare it with other stores in USA, second hand Rolex dealers are better in area they got at least people in suits. I bet this AD sells watches to grey market literally the books who are on wait list shows only 3 subs and 0 Daytona’s sold since 2018

I think you answered your own question right there. It’s not worth digging yourself into a hole to get both. This isn’t a combo you’ll be able to immediately get your money back on if you need it for more important things.

My future prediction would be you’d buy both but spend more than you could. In a few months you’d try to sell one to get some cash flow however the only one that would sell would be the Sub and you’d be left with just the DJ at full retail.

You are right I would be struck with DJ

No time to deal with selling stuff .....I hate to sell stuff ....

Will request AD for submariner black again this weekend

If not other AD is in touch they mentioned black subs will be served directly on the display box

I you only want sub wait 3 months. If you want both, ask for a blue dial, it will hold value better. Try and get a Hulk or Blnr, Blro with the DJ, You never know it may happen, unless you really want the black sub.
