Seiko 053

Wearing this one today. Gets shuffled out of my rotation, I forget how great it looks with the shade of blue and sapphire crystal.

I stopped counting

But it’s more than 2 watch boxes. At least it’s Seikos and not Rolexes.

BTW, the color of this watch in good lighting is brilliant. My poor exposure does it no justice.

Love it! I got one a few weeks ago. It punches way above its weight - as do many Seikos.

I have the black version. It’s definitely a beast and sometimes I wonder if I can really pull it off. Still get a kick out of it when when I do wear it so it stays. It’s also one of the few Seiko models that has a bracelet that I like. I did replace the clasp with a ratcheting version from Strapcode and it’s very comfortable.

I really like my 051. I prefer it on a NATO.

Works even better on a Seiko steel bracelet.
The dial, hands and bezel really shine.
