Can Anyone Tell If This Vintage Oyster Perpetual Is Authentic?

Hello Everyone,

First time posting here. I'm a graduate student with tight budget and I've always wanted to buy my dad a nice Rolex watch. As so it happens, he's turning 60 this year and with some money that I have saved, I've been looking at a vintage Oyster Perpetual Date 34mm.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Oyste...bd7b%7Ciid%3A1

Fake or real..?

Thanks,
AK

That Rolex crown looks really flat. I would stay away. Although it could just be an aftermarket dial. The rest of the watch looks good. Hollow center links are a good sign. Also 5500 Air Kings are a good choice too. If your ok without a date.

The crown on the 12 o clock position. I'm using my phone so I may be seeing a low res. But it looks flat and looks off. I think it is aftermarket. You could call the seller his phone is in the listing. But be careful. The bracelet looks good though and the steel looks crisp and sharp.

Probably genuine, but dial looks reworked.
Need better photos
