I have often wondered this myself, but I sincerely doubt it.

I would not be surprised if their marketing people look here on a regular basis.

JJ is too busy evaluating the cleavage of his peers to be concerned with commercial marketing.

I have a hunch they've been in contact with this site.

I wouldn't bet against it.

Just in case they do-

Dear Rolex person- I promise to always say nice things about your watches. This task would be even easier if you sent me a new Milgauss, dial of your choosing. You can PM me for shipping information.

Kindest Regards

Russell

I think they would be crazy not to monitor watch forums, it's free feedback.

I know that they check one of the other forums from time to time but I would doubt that this one is checked.

I'm very sure that their public affairs and marketing department checks out this forum from time to time. They would be very stupid not to.

Great question. I would think that some at Rolex have had to come across this forum. If they like what they read they probably told co workers and at that point who know how high up the viewers/members/posters are at Rolex.

I bet they do look at it from time to time...However, I doubt the members here are the core demographic Rolex is targeting. I suspect the members of the forum, and others as knowledgeable, comprise a very small percentage of thier total sales. They depend on the one-off buys from folks commemorating an acheivement or buys based on the branding and target product development in accordance to these demands. (IMHO)

of course ...

~ they look; they ALL look at these forums, as someone said, "its free market feedback" that holds literally no substantial weight but is an indirect indicator of what people are interested in and at this forum its mostly, "Newbie with a wad in the pocket, general interest, fake info, some collectors, peeps that are having second thoughts, true enthusiast, know it-alls, and guys that smoke, drink, ride Harleys, fly missions, are into bling, drive Rolls and sail boats; and just a bunch of different perspectives about their brand...
Thanks,
Randy
