If you're wearing blue go Batman, any other color go sub.

Then Batman for sure. Plus the PCL's are a bit dressier.

...here we go again. A proper dress watch would be a good investment for a lot of people on this forum.

Nonsense... ended up wearing white DaytonaC with a tux and it looked amazing. 2019 people no need to follow these “rules”

in your eyes perhaps, a tuxedo with a sports watch? That’s a faux pas if there ever was one

Wearer is pairing with a suit. Tux is only for the wedding party. I think there’s a big difference between being in the wedding party wearing a watch that may distract attention and being in attendance. Unless one’s heading to the queen’s wedding I think a Sub or BLNR works just fine for those in attendance. A Submariner on a bracelet is fine in 2019 for a wedding that isn’t overly stuffy.

Agree. These "you must wear a dress watch with no second hand" rules seem quaint in the 21st century.

Agree completely. Most people these days see any watch, especially a Rolex, as a dressy / fancy thing. I was just at a wedding days after I got my 116610LV where the father of the bride is a watch guy (he had his Calatrava on), and he loved my Sub with my suit.

By that reckoning why not go in jeans and a t shirt?

Right. Because everyone looks so stupid wearing their Sub with a suit. I guess you have the pulse on fashion in Tyler, Texas......

I would say BLNR given these choices.

Next watch should be a dress watch!

Unless the wedding is in a different time zone, underwater, or both... it doesn’t matter.

Can't go wrong with either. Or bring both, then you can switch during the day/evening

BLNR would stand out more, which is a good thing.
