Incoming!!

It was love at first sight..
I Honestly think pictures doesn't do the gorgeous blue lacquered dial justice.

Enjoy Day & night Shots

A nice looking piece from IWC there. They’ve created a design with a quirky visual appeal by marrying the ‘digital’ hour and minute discs, with a traditional seconds sud-dial.

Nice pick up, quite unique with the minutes as the planet and the other satellites orbiting around it.

Quite an interesting piece, does it function like a Zeitwerk?

Congratulations!

To answer my own question, yes minutes and hours discs jump as in the Zeitwerk. I was reading that it also has a 60 hours power reserve which is not bad at all.

I think they really did well with this tribute, you are correct - that blue dial is absolutely stunning in person. Would love to hear your thoughts and how it wears. Congrats and enjoy it!

It actually wears quiet comfy. Not too heavy nor too big the presence is there. Yet sits perfect on the wrist.
I have here installed the IWC velcro strap instead of the gator strap keeping that one for more dressier nights.

45mm Is quiet ideal for my 7.5 inch wrist. Hence, the watch saphire back is also flushed so no protruding there

That's a stunner! First time I had seen one was during a tour of the Lolani palace in Honolulu, it was on display there. It was presented to King Kalakaua in 1887. I was very pleased when I saw IWC included it in the 150th anniversary collection.

This IWC "Pallweber" watch is super-awesome. It's a steal, when compared with Lange Zeitwerk.

But I think it will look better with alligator straps; perhaps with Navy ones.
