Code incoming

OK just got the code 1159, I will say this, in person it is beautiful it feel special. This is the least photogenic watch ever. The details is what make this watch and in photos is hard to catch the details.

Profile pictures looks great! Congratulations! Started to grow on me, will be interesting to see if they release new dial variants...case, glass and mechanism justify the whole thing, dial is simple but probably welcoming change after royal oak in your face type of design...

Congratulations! I do think it’s a good looking piece, but could be even better with a different dial and hands.

Enjoy wearing and please share more photos !!

I like it. Yes, it lacks the signature AP octagonal (or is it hexagonal) look but from a purely aesthetic perspective it looks really good IMO.

Couple more photos, the dial is such a deep black, is hard to capture. The watch is very comfortable.

I like that they got the date placement right on this piece.

On the new 38mm chronos someone pointed out that it was weirdly placed and I can't unsee it

Looks great. I think there will be a lot of 180’s on these. It’s going to be a really good line for AP

Congrats, I think you've summed it up well, doesn't photo well but the details and finishing are pure AP and are nicely done. Is this your first AP? Are you one of those FHB was trying to attract to the brand?

This is not my first I started with the royal oaks. I still feel that first time ap buyers will go for a steel royal oak no? Who is going to get into the brand by buying a pm watch? I don't know what ap is thinking.

Congratulations, looks great! The code is a very different look from the Royal Oak but I think it’s going to grow on people.

To be fair, market price for entry level steel royal oaks is around 25k (depending on dial color) so paying 26k for the entry level code doesn’t feel that outrageous.
